I apologize for my frequent inquiries regarding cheesecake. 🥺

Actually, I have recently embarked on a small business where I sell Basque burnt cheesecake. However, I have received feedback suggesting that my cheesecake lacks a sufficiently cheesy flavor. I have been using Anchor Cream Cheese as my main ingredient and using your recipe from youtube (15 cm Basque Burnt Cheesecake) and following your mini Basque cheesecake class, I attempted to substitute it with Kiri cream cheese, but (I dont know why ☹) the taste didn’t differ significantly.

Hence, my question is – is basque burnt cheesecake supposed to have a strong or super cheesy flavor?

The taste of the cheesecake would actually be completely dependent on the cream cheese brand that you select. To be honest, this is a matter of preference so it’s not a matter of right or wrong. Do play around with different brands of cream cheese to fit the palate of your customers!
