CURRICULUM

What do you learn in this course?

Thinking outside the box

When it comes to a banana cake, most people think of layers of genoise with whipped heavy cream and bananas. Well, how about making use of the banana bread that we know of?

Banana Jam Insert

During the process of upgrading the banana bread to a banana cake, banana jam was inserted into the middle which turned it into something completely different!

Perfect balance of texture

Dense banana bread, crunchy pecans, gooey banana jam, creamy banana whipped ganache. This is an orchestra of different textures in one cake!

Mini size

Rather than baking it in a loaf tin (as is the case with banana bread), this cake is baked in a 10cm pan which gives a really cute look. Furthermore, you don’t need to cut the cake into slices!
